Today His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf blows on his 71st candle and the first part of the celebration took place in the outer courtyard of the Royal Palace in Stockholm. The King, accompanied by son Prince Carl Philip, stepped out to receive the guardhouse and the honor of the day, he seems to be in great spirits. Children came to give the King flowers and he taught them how to shake hands
While the courtyard festivities were taking place, while viewing the video I could see Princess Estelle dancing from the palace's windows.
His Majesty was then joined on the balcony by the rest of his family: Her Majesty Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, her husband Prince Consort Prince Danial and their two children Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar, as well as Prince Carl-Philip and wife Princess Sofia. In one of the pictures we see Princess Estelle reaching out to her gandfather for a hug
